Felix was seated at his desk, contently drinking his glass of champagne before carefully placing it on his desk, leaning back against his leather seat. He scrolled through his channel, grinning contently as he went by, different games of all types of genres passed by the screen in a rush.
One of oddly colored pink and green males passed by as they threw an arm around the other, bro-fisting the other gleefully. Another of large purple creatures and a scientist flew by as well as a silent “You can’t do shit brah!” Was heard, causing Felix chuckle softly, taking another small sip from his glass.
A pixelated man came into view, followed by several other forms created in similar styles, seeming to bounce on their feet as they desperately rushed around, looking for a hidden bomb. A small girl in red and a tall male in blue came into the picture, clutching matching roses and eating the delicacies of macaroons as they strolled by, laughing as they spoke.
Felix frowned, “What?” He questioned, looking at his screen as it froze in it’s place, not budging as it clicked onto his Playlists by itself.
“What’s going on?” He questioned, now sitting up and staring at his screen in confusion. Watching as each of the playlists were highlighted without his command. Felix moved his hand off the mouse, afraid it was him who was accidentally doing the commands.
It wasn’t.
“Wha-”
Felix was cut off as the sounds of his fan’s filled his speakers, causing him to blush embarrassed and stare at his screen in confusion, watching as it blinked off and sending it into a dark pit. Felix frowned, the sounds of his adoring fans still filling his speakers, even as he tried to lower the volume a tad. It grew louder and louder, before becoming a echoing roar of adoration. Felix’s attention was cut as he stared at his monitor as it blinked on once more, now a white void.
“Do I know why we stopped the car again?”
“FUCK YEAH!” His own voice now filled the speakers, followed by a track that played silently behind it. Felix chuckled, watching as the small dog with a beanie was followed, parading in his screen with the other characters. A small cat silently bounced across the screens, throwing itself from side to side before landing on the head of an eight year old boy holding a striped rubber ball.
“Bengt!” Felix yelled before laughing, watching as the ball rolled past a large headed alien with green rings on his head. A snow white unicorn trotted by alongside with a brown horse as it held a saddle strapped with firearms. Hands sprouted out from the void’s ground next to a slender, faceless figure that held a handful of oddly shaped masks. A long corridor was sent off to the side, it’s endless hallways and carpeted floors seemed welcoming as a small boy with no real features leaned against it, his entire black body and bright white eyes blinking as he peered inside.
Felix couldn’t contain his grin, watching as a young couple held hands by a lighthouse next to two scientists who swiftly placed machines on their heads near a poorly sickened man, before disappearing. Barbie held a Rocksmith guitar across her torso while holding up a microphone, playing a Muse song and singing along as the words appeared on the bottom of Felix’s screen. Felix laughed before he decided to join along, singing along with the melody. The melody was cut short, as another couple began to argue with each other inside a small apartment, small statues and paintings surrounding their small space.
A small kid strolled by, furiously writing things in his notebook as they appeared around him, some being more video games from the past. A child and his dad rode by on their bicycle, a shout of, “I DON’T CARE!” Emitted from Felix’s speakers, causing the Swede to laugh out loud. The raced by next to a small keyboard, eyes laying down in the center of it, closed shut as a hand gently stroked it’s keys. Felix shifted a bit before taking another sip of champagne, uncomfortable at that small sight, remembering his incident with it.
A small group of rotting beings staggered in, large bellies protruding from their bodies as they walked along with a small girl in a baseball cap, clutching a gun as she called out, “Lee? Lee?” Felix’s heart swelled with emotion as he was reminded of the poor girl and her horrid past. A lean teenager ran past the screen for a brief moment, blue varsity and white underwear standing out on the screen as he ran past a computer headed figure who walked side by side with a young female who went by the name of Evie.
Brightly colored neon people danced by merrily as two decaying males watched, small chalkboards with colored words hanging around their necks bouncing off their chests as they staggered. Small candles appeared around the characters, lighting up as a completely white female figure came past, her head and heart missing. A blonde little girl giggled madly as she held a small black cat on her lap, petting it contently.
Felix let out a happy sigh, realizing what was occurring before his eyes. His characters. His memories. All unfolding in front of him.
Large pyramid shaped headed figures came in, the smaller characters clearing the way as they walked on, blood and pieces of who knows what dropping off from their sharpened heads. They were closely followed by tall creatures with demon like features, arms longer than their leg limbs that curled upwards like a sword. Muscles rippling through their skin tight clothes as the turned their horned heads.
Felix shifted again, getting chills run up and down his spin from the enemy characters that passed the screen, recalling each fateful death that happened with each. He frowned as black snow began to drift downwards, confused as to what it was to symbolize, before he quickly caught on.
A small wooden labyrinth toy rested on the lap of a wooden mannequin. “Jeremy!” Felix cried out, laughing as his pink and oddly shaped Spore creation came and rested next to the small wooden man. Ghosts were being chased past a wide eyed and bloody woman with messy jet black hair that cascaded down her back. A man with a gun was shooting at bloodied, decapitated dolled back to back with another male who shot at paper white and fanged zombies.
A broad shouldered male in a gray hoodie walked across the screen, dragging a bloodied hand along the white wall perimeter of the screen, his fingerless gloves smearing the bloody trail. Large box headed and yellow skinned people followed behind, parading in front of a woman who flung herself behind them, seeming as if she thought she were a bird. A small folded piece of bloodied origami paper rested upon the shoulder of a towering woman in a long black and burgundy robe. Her spike like fingertips dripped with blood as her black pits of eyes stared at a male who held a red jeweled cross.
A body wrapped in cloth was bounded to a wheelchair, trailing behind a monster of its similar kind, paper white face and blood dripping hands that out stretched in a weird manner. A fuchsia colored pixelated man was missing his trousers, passing by a ring filled with cube shaped people who fought in a boxing arena. An African American racer passed by, legs and arms working in a robotic manner alongside with a more modern looking zombie, ribs easily visible through his paper thin skin.
In one of the far corners of the screen stood a man, head down and staring at his bloodied fingers, knife slipping from his grasp. The knife clanged through the ground, slipping through a small ghost girl who held a stuffed kitten.
“Save Kitty cat! Gotta love my save kitty cat.” Felix sung, chuckling lightly before the small girl rushed up to the screen, grabbing hold of it and shaking it madly.
“AHHH!” Felix yelled, smashing in the controls to release himself, just as how it was in the game. The small ghost finally released him, floating away elsewhere as the gamer caught his breath.
A hooded male in a leather jacket stalked across the screen briefly, eyes shimmering like rubies and fangs that would remind one of a saber tooth tiger. A simple white face floating in mid-air was seated upon a red circle, golden star etched in the middle, surrounded by small candles. On the floor laid a woman, blood trailing down her eyes, nose, and mouth, giving the impression that she was crying. Perched on top of her shoulders was a white haired man in an all black uniform, holding up a shotgun that pointed in the air.
Across the screen ran an archer, chasing after small white creatures that sprawled out on the ground, scurrying away. They raced down this hallway, lit by a woman who gripped a small flashlight in her hand. Around the area littered creepy little joker dolls with somewhat demonic eyes that shone brightly, causing Felix to shutter with chills as he stared back at them.
“Abro!” Felix laughed as he watched the horse limp by, past the odd looking cubical people that wore odd expressions that refused to change. A blue, futuristic looking gun laid next to a small beeping device, causing Felix to shake his head.
“No Herky no!” He whispered somewhat rushed, as if he was in the situation himself. Next to the items was a man who was sewn together, hanging from a rope that was tied around his neck tightly. A realistic looking Spongebob zoomed past the scene, clutching a gun tightly as a horse followed him closely, rocket launcher attached to the saddle.
Felix watched with pure joy, watching all of his characters move about on his computer screen, recalling each experience and Let’s Play game through of them. How each would either cause him to pierce the ears with screaming or destroy the stomach with laughing.
Felix opened his mouth to say something before his screen blinked for a moment, becoming white once more. In the background, he heard his own voice.
“Fridays with PewDiePie.” It sung, sounding quite off before it laughed, the track beginning to play. His Vlogs appeared on his screen, reminding him of trips that he’d attended and places he’d been. He smiled fondly, seeing him and Marzia together in a lot of them.
His screen cut short again, just as himself and Marzia were to kiss, staying black for a long while before his voice wafted through the speakers once more.
“Cry. Cry. Cry. Cry. Cry. Do you remember?”
“What?” The familiar voice questioned, revealing it to be the masked man behind the poker face.
“September.” Felix’s recorded voice sang, before his screen shined brightly again, showing the white void now filled with new characters. In the center were two small cats, a green colored one who gripped onto the blanket tightly was trailing alongside with a red colored one in a vest, his mask nearly slipping off as both were covered in a fine amount of blood.
Two cowboys raced by on stallions, shooting at robbers who ran away on foot, over-sized bags of money shaking loudly. Two females who looked identical ran past the back, followed by a hoard of zombies, laughter from Cry and Felix both drifted out from the speakers before more voices came in. The similar voices of Ohm and CinnamonToastKen jumped in too, just as four boxed characters raced through at an incredible speed, their neon colored bodies flashing brightly against the already bright computer screen.
Once more did Felix’s screen flash white, reappearing with four average sized characters. One stood with pointed ears and golden skin, his suit being readjusted by a large ebony woman with hair picked up behind her head. A characterized version of Felix was chuckling as he yanked the pink skinned male with wings out of a trash bin, the four circled around the screen and facing the real Felix with pure grins.
Marzia walked in with a small glass of Apple Cider as the computer screen blinked off, placing a gentle hand on Felix's shoulder and kissing his cheek softly, "Happy New Year." She smiled at him, causing him to return it before he paused, frowning.
"Wait a minute. ." Felix murmured, standing up and looking about the room before his eyes laid on a small golden statue that stood down on one knee as he held out a sword in front of him, pointing down at the ground. The small green chair helped a stuffed pig sit upright next to the statue, Felix smiling as he picked up the three items in his hold.
"Happy New Year." He said, grin on his face as the night struck midnight and thus started a new year of gaming and experiences.
